I, Seung Koo Park, hereby declare that:

1 . I am a citizen of the Repubhc of Korea.

2. I currently reside at #1 15-507, Hwangsil Town, 302 Wolpyeong-Dong Seo-Gu, Daejon
302-792, Korea.

3. I am a co-inventor of the above-identified patent application.

4. Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute is the assignee of the above-
identified patent application.

5. I have reviewed Do et aL, ^"Nonlinear optical materials containing organic
chromophores of dendrimer structures: Synthesis and Optical properties", (Photonics Conference 2002)

("Do 2002"). I am informed that the U.S. Patent Office has cited the Do 2002 publication against claims
1-3 of the above-identified application.

6. The Do 2002 publication lists the following individuals as authors: Do, Jung Yun; Park,
Seung Koo; Ju, Jung Jin; Park, Suntak; Ma, Sung-Min and Myung Hyun Lee.

7. I am therefore a co-inventor of the subject matter disclosed in Do 2002 and now claimed
in claims 1 and 3 of the above-identified application.

8. Although Ma, Sung-Min is listed as a co-author in Do 2002 he was merely working
under or at the direction of myself and/or the other inventors of the subject matter of claims 1 and 3.

9. Thus, Ma, Sung-Min did not have any inventive contribution to the subject matter
claimed in the above-identified application.

all statements made on information and behef are believed to be true; and further that these statements
were made with the knowledge that willful false statements and the like are punishable by fine or
imprisonment, or both, under Section 1001 of Title 18 of the United States Code, and that such willful
